Thermasys
Thermasys are specialists in air source and ground source heat pumps, but also offer a full range of renewable energy systems from heat pumps to solar panels, the first being installed by several clients who are off the gas network or finding they need to replace their oil boilers, the second, to clients who want to reduce their electric bills. Thermasys work closely with a number of other companies which cover all aspects of renewable energy provision and sustainable timber frame housing.

Thermasys offer a diverse range of renewable energy systems which are an environmentally and cost effective alternative to traditional LPG gas and oil solutions. Our products use free solar energy, are safe, reliable and use latest technology and methods. Cost effective to install, maintain and run and can save up to 70% on energy bills in comparison with fossil fuels.

Unlike most renewable energy companies we provide a full package of installation and design, we also carry out an initial technical site survey free of charge.

Please browse our website for more information about Ground and Air Source Heat Pumps, Underfloor Heating, Wind Turbines, Insulation Materials & Screed, Solar/Thermal Hot Water Production and Wood Burning Stoves then contact us on 01142 561552 or e-mail us on enquiries@thermasys.co.uk.
We work hard to ensure that you are delighted with our Company and would be happy to recommend us to others.
We offer a complete after sales support package and technical support to our customers 365 days a year after commissioning and handover.
We have years of experience in the design, installation & maintenance of Heatpumps and underfloor Heating systems etc.
We are an independent company allowing us to give you the right products at the right prices.
On hand over we demonstrate to the end user how to get the best out of the Heatpump to ensure it runs as efficiently as possible.
In a hot-water system, warm water is circulated through pipes or tubes that are laid into the floor (usually a solid-screeded floor, although joist-based systems also work well).
Various types of pipe are used including PEX, multi-layer (a composite of PEX, aluminium and PEX) which is also known as Alupex (there is also a version using PERT instead of the PEX) and polybutylene (PB).
Copper pipes are not normally used.
Warm Water Underfloor Heating is 30% more efficient than low temperature radiators with a ground source Heatpump, 20% more efficient with an air source Heatpump, and 5-15% more efficient than low temp radiators with a condensing boiler.
Solar hot water Heating is considered as "the ultimate way to achieve a large reduction in carbon emissions".
Thermasys believe that the UK should follow the Spanish model of installing solar hot water Heating and solar thermal technology in all newly built houses.
Spain has adopted a blanket policy, which stipulates that all new homes should include solar hot water Heating solutions.
Domestic solar hot water Heating systems perform well in all parts of Britain although slightly better in southern areas compared with the north of England and Scotland.
The requirements for efficient structures under the Building Regulations in the UK change every few years.
As time goes by, buildings need to be constructed to ever more stringent energy criteria.
This is being driven by the global focus on carbon emissions and rising fuel costs.
In time, fossil fuels will disappear.
These systems make the best possible use of available energy - the Building Regulationsensure that we retain as much of our generated energy as possible through the use of modern insulation materials.
