Solar panels are ideal for urban and rural locations, simply requiring roof or ground area facing between east and west, through south.
Solar panels are easily connected to the building's electricity supply so that you can use the electricity and any excess can be fed back into the national grid to generate an income for you.
An LED lamp is a light-emitting diode (LED), or several diodes in a cluster, that are assembled into a lamp shaped body (or light bulb) for use in replacing existing lamps in lighting fixtures.

Making sure that the way your system is connected to your roof is (in our eyes) the most important aspect of any solar pv installation.
Knowing what type of roof construction your home has, as well as knowing how a system should be installed to each type, is crucial in ensuring the safety of the pv system and also protecting and prolonging the condition of your property roof timbers.
Although undamaged trusses are extremely strong, they were not designed to take the additional weight of solar panels so anchors must be installed on every truss under the mounting rails in order to spread the load over the whole roof structure.

The Feed-in Tariff pays a tax free income to domestic households and an index-linked payment for both commercial and domestic installations.
On top of this, solar PV generated electricity also produces substantial savings on your standard import / supply bill.
Short answer; everyone!
All PV installations under 5MW, private and commercial are eligible.
On the commercial side, the feed-in tariff will encourage PV installations among farmers, rural businesses, small and medium enterprises, where PV installations can be linked to other rural development programmes and enterprise grants.

A south facing roof is not necessary.
Even if your roof faces due east or west, solar panels are still a worthwhile investment.
Solar PV panels on a typical UK roof, at a slope of 40 degrees, and facing due east or west will still generate over 80% of the electrical energy compared with one facing due south.
For panels facing south-east or south-west the figure is over 90%.
Shading from chimneys, aerials and trees etc is a potentially a big problem when trying to achieve maximum efficiency, so it's important to try to minimise shading wherever possible.
